Other Exotic Artifacts

Depending on the season or where we and our friends have traveled recently, we’ll have in stock assorted other items from around the world. Among these will be Bulgarian pottery; Zimbabwean fabrics handpainted with natural dyes; whimsical wooden roosters by artists in the Dominican Republic; and a variety of other items from Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, China, Bulgaria, and elsewhere.

Above and below are two limited edition wood block prints from the Caribbean. The top image, named "El Descubrimiento (The Discovery)" depicts Jesus' crucifixion above the "discovery" of the Americas. Below is Analisi, an image which depicts Jesus and his disciples thinking about Cuba. Both are part of our personal collection. For other art from the Caribbean, see Caribbean Art.

We have a regular display in the hallway and back dining area at The Bluegill, Goshen's finest restaurant. Occasionally we have exhibitions at The Old Bag Factory in Goshen as well. This display shows a number of Chinese farmer paintings, antique Chinese carvings, framed Panamanian molas, and Bulgarian kilim rugs.
